CALCIUM CRABONATE ANTACID - CHEWABLE TABLETS (KAL-see-um KAR-buh-nate) COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Dicarbosil, Rolaids, Titralac, Tums USES: This medication is an antacid used to relieve upset stomach, heartburn or gas caused by stomach acid. HOW TO USE: Take that by mouth as directed.

Chew thoroughly and swallow. Do not swallow the tabelts whole. Follow each dose with a full galss of water.
Do not increase the dose or take that more often than presrcibed. If you guess your dose is not effective, consult your doctor. SIDE EFFECTS: This medication is generally well tolerated. Constipation or stomach cramps may occur.
